Pastor Benny Hinn reveals more details on upcoming wedding

Pastor Benny Hinn
Popular televangelist Benny Hinn, who late last month announced that he was reconciling with former wife Suzanne Hinn, has revealed a few more details about the impending wedding.

“You wake up to the fact that you need your wife, and she wakes up to the fact that she needs her husband,” said Benny Hinn on a recent episode of “The 700 Club.”

Jack Hayford, a Pentecostal minister who is chancellor of King’s University in Los Angeles and leader of Jack Hayford ministries, will oversee the marriage ceremony of Benny Hinn and his former wife Suzanne. Benny Hinn has credited Hayford with helping to restore the marriage of the Hinn couple, who divorced in 2010.

A few weeks ago, Hinn revealed that the divorce came about due to his wife’s struggle with an addiction to prescription pills.

The truth of the matter is that Suzanne filed for divorce because she was in a deep emotional and physical crisis that affected her in such a way that caused her to make a decision she now regrets. And although it was, without question, the most agonizing two and a half years of my life, the end of our marriage most certainly woke me up, and the Lord used it to show me — as a man of God and as a man — that I cannot function properly without my wife and family,” Hinn explained.

Despite these past hardships, Hinn affirmed that the love he shares with his wife is now stronger than ever.

“I have always loved this girl and she has always loved me. We never broke the covenant. Our marriage has been restored. We just want to make sure that we don’t repeat the same mistakes.”

The remarriage has been announced to take place on the evening of Friday, Oct. 26, at Calvary Assembly in Orlando, Fla. – the church that Suzanne Hinn’s father once served as lead pastor.

Actress Meagan Good weds, becomes a preacher’s wife [Pics]

Meagan Good and Devon Franklin wedding kiss
Think Like a Man star Meagan Good married Seventh Day Adventist preacher and Columbia Pictures Vice President DeVon Franklin Saturday in Malibu, Calif., People reports.

Good, 30, and Franklin, 33, said “I do” at Triunfo Creek Winery in front of 400 guests, including Derek Luke, Tracey Edmonds, Deion Sanders and Tasha Smith.

The actress wore a custom R-Mine gown with a purple-dipped train and sported jewels by Jason the Jeweler. She walked down the aisle to “These Arms” performed by the Craig Lewis Band. The ceremony was accented with purple roses, tulips and rustic gold and guests enjoyed a Southern Girl Desserts cake with flavors including sweet potato, banana cream pie and peach cobbler.

Singer Shanice was on hand at the reception to sing, ‘Loving You’ while the couple enjoyed their first dance.

“DeVon makes me better, makes my life fuller, and completes my quality of life,” Good told the magazine. “He’s truly on my team and I am truly on his. God revealed my heart to him like nobody else.”

Added Franklin: “I’ve never had more peace, fun, and joy than I’ve had with her.”

Good and Franklin first met six years ago while discussing a film project and went on their first date after working on, coincidentally, the marriage-themed romantic comedy, Jumping the Broom.

The newlyweds will travel to Big Sur for a mini-moon and plan to honeymoon closer to the holidays after Good finishes filming her upcoming NBC drama, Infamous.
